About

How we assess enquiries

If you send photographs or a customer questionnaire, here is exactly what happens and what you get back.

What we look at in photographs

  • Overall construction — stringer or block, entry type, deck coverage, board condition.
  • Apparent material, as far as an image allows.
  • Which marks are physically present, on which faces, and whether they are legible.
  • Visible repairs, replaced components, damage, staining or contamination.
  • Approximate footprint, where a reference in the image allows an estimate.

What we can tell you

  • What we can identify from the images, described plainly.
  • What each visible mark does and does not evidence.
  • Whether the pallet type looks appropriate for the journey you have described.
  • What we would need to see, or you would need to confirm, to go further.
  • Whether we can supply an alternative, and roughly what that involves.

The hard limits

A review is preliminary product guidance based on photographs. It is not certification, not customs clearance, not plant-health approval, and not confirmation that a shipment will be accepted. We cannot verify from an image that a treatment was properly carried out, and we will not tell you a pallet is “approved”.

Documentation requests

If you forward a customer questionnaire, we will tell you which questions relate to product facts we can answer as a supplier, which relate to manufacturer or EU importer obligations that are not ours to answer, and which need specialist advice. We will not sign a declaration for pallets we did not manufacture, and we will not produce a blanket compliance certificate — no honest supplier can.

Please remove personal, financial and commercially unrelated information before uploading. We do not need it.

Timing and privacy

Enquiries are read by a person, usually with a reply by email within one working day. Details and uploads are stored securely and used to answer your enquiry; they are not sold or shared. Replies come from help@exportpallets.co.uk.
